Few services live up to the “VIP” name, but VIP Athens Taxi does. Steven was excellent with communication, even calling me in the USA prior to our trip to confirm arrangements. Nicos was gracious, meeting us at the airport without any problems and the transfer to our accommodations was smooth. While in Athens, Steven was great about arranging our trip to the port and meeting us very early in the morning to ensure we made it to the ferry on time and with enough time to deal with Covid regulations. While in the islands, Steven was proactive about reaching out to arrange our return trip to the airport, which was just as smooth as everything else. Truly excellent service and I highly, highly recommend. I know we will be contacting Steven when we return to Greece.

Airport Private Transfers After a long and tiring flight, we were lucky enough to be picked up by Steven at the airport. He was very welcoming, knowledgeable and entertaining. From meeting our group (4) at the airport until the return a week later, Steven was a pleasure. Not only professional, courteous, and very prompt, he also brought a lot of color and local knowledge as well as being very easy to communicate with. He clearly enjoys what he does. We worked out a trip with him after we arrived to Delphi and the Hosios Loukas monastery (at his suggestion) that was very worthwhile. He also took us to the Temple of Poseiden and arranged an excellent dinner at a nearby seafood restaurant. I highly recommend his services and would not hesitate to call him again.

We were a group of 19 arriving into Athens at different times over two days. We found Steve and arranged taxi services through him and he was excellent. I arrived at 10pm and it was wonderful to have someone waiting at the airport who spoke English and I didn’t have to search through the airport and negotiate with someone. Steve is also super personable and showed us some of the sights as we drove through the city.
I met Steve 6 years ago. Since then he is our “private” driver in Athens. He is the most friendly, polite and reliable taxi driver. He is more a friend than a partner. Also he has the most clean car in Athens!!
We traveled to Athens and Andros this month with our 8-year old twins. Steven was recommended to us by some friends who had hired him to take them to the ferry. I travelled to Athens to surprise my brother for his wedding and had no idea where to catch a bus to travel to the destination, but they went above and beyond service with helping me get to the right bus depo and assisted me with purchasing the correct ticket and locating the correct bus. Steven picked me up at the airport, he was waiting for me when I arrived, he welcomed me like he was welcoming a friend. When we arrived to the car he offered me a bottle of water that he bought for me, I thought it was a very thoughful gesture.. much appreciated man. The fact that he was born in australia and speaks perfect english made it very easy to communicate. He gave me many tips about athens that were very useful. I confirmed with him to pick me up from my hotel the day I was leaving, It was 4:30 in the morning, I honnestly thought that since he owns the company he will send somebody else to pick me up; I really appreciated the fact that he was personally waiting for me in the hotel lobby to take me back to the airport. During the week that I was in Athens together with 8 other students, we didnt had to be worry about transport. Even when we were late with the requesting of a taxi, Steven managed it. I also liked that Steven was always absent 10 minutes before the time we had said. Then you know for sure that you can leave on time. The car trips were always very pleasant because of the stories Steven told and the jokes he made. When I am back in Athens, I will definitely use this taxi company again.

Steven was... great we were a large party with five children- ages 13 to 19... this was the best part of my trip on the mainland... Last summer we used VIP Athens Taxi for transfers from our hotel to Piraeus to catch a ferry to the islands. Steve was there to pick us up on time, he also helped us find the travel agency where we had pre-booked our ferry tickets, it was a little complicated to find the agency so I m extremely thankful he helped us out, he really went above and beyond. Im traveling back to Greece in September and I will definitely be using his services.

Steve is a great driver! We had him pick us up 4 times while in Athens and he was always on time, if not early. He speaks excellent English as he is originally from Australia. I was very fortunate that a friend had recommended Steve s services when I arrived in Athens during a general strike. Not only was Steve constantly keeping up with the strike but he also had to change his own schedule to accommodate my own delays. In the car Steve was a pleasure to be with, an impassioned person who takes an interest in his work and his clients. I will always call him when coming to Athens.
We only used Stelios/Steven for our return airport transfers but we were extremely impressed. It was our first time in Greece and, as we arrived in the very small hours, it wasn t without the teeniest bit of trepidation. So it was very reassuring to be met immediately the other side of the Customs Exit and to hear our driver speaking perfect English.... or should I say Australian! Steven proved to be a warm, affable and funny character who kept us entertained throughout both journeys with him. On our return trip he very kindly looked after our luggage for five hours while we squeezed the last little drop out of our visit to this beautiful city. Steven s Mercedes was spotless and roadworthy and he was very attentive and gave us the best service. Steve was recommended to us by our daughter who is living in Athens. He met us at the airport and took us straight to her apartment. He then picked the 4 of us up later in the week for flights to Corfu for a 3 day weekend. He met us on our return trip a few days later and brought us back to the apartment. He then picked up our niece and brought her to the apartment. Of course he then took us to the airport on our departure. He is always PROMPT and courteous. His Australian English is perfect. Ask him what is the best way to cook a soft (none chewy) calamari.... I wont give away the secret - you will need to organize a taxi pick-up with him. Visited June 2016
